We are looking for a high caliber Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team at the Frankfurt, Germany head office on a freelance basis for six months. Your deep expertise in Telecom & Connectivity is required to successfully manage complex customer projects in Europe (UK, mainland) and Taiwan. What skills are required for this application engineer (m/f/d)?

The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Expertise in the field of connectivity solutions, especially in the application of current WiFi standards (testing, validation and certification). In-depth technical knowledge of common open source platforms such as RDK-B or OpenWRT to design robust system architectures. Understanding of IoT protocols and their integration into home automation and WiFi sensing solutions. Ability to support development through hands-on programming in languages such as C/C++, Python and JavaScript to customize codebases. Communication in business fluent English and German to effectively manage international projects. Leadership and project management skills to effectively organize complex test and integration projects. Detail orientation and analytical strength to quickly resolve technical issues and clarify complex customer needs.

Additional preferred qualifications may include problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience working in collaborative team environments.
