The company plans to optimize and standardize its actuarial processes in life and health insurance, particularly with regard to the calculation of technical provisions in accordance with local accounting standards (e.g. HGB, IFRS) and Solvency II. A central pillar of this initiative is the use of the best-practice functionalities of msg.Life Factory and their adaptation to specific internal requirements. This should lead to greater efficiency, transparency and auditability of the calculation runs....

What skills are required for this actuary (m/f/d) with msg.life experience?

The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Sound actuarial expertise: Degree in mathematics, (business) mathematics or a comparable discipline. Ideally (associate) member of the German Actuarial Association (DAV) or a comparable international organization. Expertise in msg.Life: Several years of proven project experience in the implementation, configuration and use of the msg.Life Factory (in particular modules for portfolio management, calculation or provision calculation). Knowledge of accounting: Deep knowledge of actuarial accounting standards (e.g. Solvency II, HGB, IFRS 17 is a plus) and their mapping in IT systems. Data and IT affinity: Confident handling of large amounts of data, very good knowledge of SQL and ideally experience with scripting languages or relevant actuarial modeling tools. Language skills: Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) for communication with specialist departments and IT.

Additional preferred qualifications may include problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience working in collaborative team environments.
